Song of the Day 4.10.12

It's always interesting to listen to a song and listen to the lyrics. When I was younger I would listen to songs mainly for the beat of the song. However, over time I have enjoyed the beat but have also listened closely to lyrics too. Some bands can insight thought provoking lyrics, and others can be more straight forward. This song is a little unsettling at times. The music is great, but the lyrics tell a story that isn't for the faint of heart. La Dispute has taken a scenario (in this case a shooting) and retells the whole story. The lyrics have no rhyme or meter, but they are very poetic. Think beat poetry set to music.
